Sebitseom is constructed by a floating method in which the building is constructed on a floating body.
Construction was done according to the "airbag construction method" in which we inserted a rubber tube under the structure, pumped air into it, and then moved the structure by rolling the tube.
This floating method has never been used in Korea.
The floating method is simple in principle, but in practice multiple overseas technical staff members and dozens of massive airbags were used in order to float a structure weighing at least 4,000 tons. Floating was only completed successfully after a long period of hard work and endeavor by the project team involved.
